SSC Cabinet Secretariat Exam 2013 Cutoff:

The cutoff for Pre exam is expected to be more than 115 as the seats are very less in number. But as the descriptive paper carry 300 marks, cutoff for Pre won’t be that high as expected earlier. Also, Tier 1 paper is only qualifying. Final selection is based on the combined score of Tier 2 + Interview.

Negative Marking or Not?:

All the candidates are really confused about whether there was negative marking in the paper or not. Though nothing specific was mentioned about negative marking on the question paper, but all SSC exams have negative marking. So, there is a high chance of having negative marking in this exam also.
We will update more about negative marking confusion once the official confirmation is out regarding this.

The official answer keys will be published on SSC website in a month or so. The result and cutoff announcement could take up more than 2 months as SSC efficiency is not as fast as it was earlier.

JEE Advanced 2013 Answer Key, Analysis, Cutoff & Result

JEE Advanced exam was conducted on June 2, 2013. The exam was conducted all over India and around 1.26 lakh candidates appeared in the JEE Advanced exam 2013.

JEE Advanced 2013 Analysis:

Paper 1: There were many surprised in the paper 1 of JEE Advanced 2013. The marking scheme has been changed. There was no negative marking for questions with single choice correct answers but there was negative marking for the questions with more than one choice correct and the integer type questions had negative marking.

Mathematics was the toughest among all. Chemistry was tougher than last year’s exam. But Physics was easy.

Paper 2: Paper 2 was also full of unexpected changes. The new negative marking scheme in the paper had resisted the students from attempting questions where they had even slightest doubt and this increased the difficulty of the paper.
