IBPS Clerks 2 Second Round of Allotment

IBPS has announced the second round of allotment for the selection of clerks in 19 public sector banks. It is a great news for all those candidates who missed the selection by close margin.

IBPS has announced the new cutoff marks for all states/Union Territories and also mailing all those candidates who make it in this round of allotment.

Types of Cheques in India

Check out the different types of bank cheques in India such as Order Cheque, Bearer Cheque, Blank Cheque, Post dated cheque, open cheque, stale cheque, Traveller’s cheque, etc.

TYPES OF CHEQUES:

1. Order Cheque: A cheque which is payable to a particular person or his order is called an order cheque.

2. Bearer Cheque: A cheque which is payable to a person whosoever bears, is called bearer cheque.

3. Blank Cheque: A cheque on which the drawer puts his signature and leaves all other columns blank is called a blank cheque.

4. Stale Cheque: The cheque which is more than six months old is a stale cheque.

5. Multilated Cheque: If a cheque is torn into two or more pieces, it is termed as mutilated cheque.

6. Post Dated Cheque: If a cheque bears a date later than the date of issue, it is termed as post dated cheque.

7. Open Cheque: A cheque which has not been crossed is called an open cheque. Even if a cheque is crossed and subsequently the drawer has cancelled the crossing at the request of the payee and affixes his full signature with the words “crossing cancelled pay cash”, it becomes an open cheque.

8. Crossed Cheque: A cheque which carries too parallel transverse lines across the face of the cheque with or without the words “I and co”, is said to be crossed.

9. Gift Cheques: Gift cheques are used for offering presentations on occasions like birthday, weddings and such other situations. It is available in various denominations.

10. Traveller’s Cheques: It is an instrument issued by a bank for remittance of money from one place to another.

Bank Probationary Officer(PO) & Clerk Expected Salary After Revision in 2013

The new revised pay scale of Bank PO and Clerk is due from November 1, 2012. Check out the Bank Probationary Officer(PO) & Clerk Expected Salary After Revision in 2013. All the existing employees of banks would get the arrear from November 1, 2012. This salary update is for the employees of 21 Public sector banks(Excluding SBI and its associates).

Bank Probationary Officer Salary After Revision in 2013:

At present a newly joined Bank PO’s Basic Pay is Rs.14,500. After merging the 60.15% Dearness Allowance as on November 1, 2011 to Basic Pay, it will be Rs.23,221/-. An increment of minimum 20-25% is expected on this basic pay.

If IBA(Indian Banks’ Association) agree for 20% increment, Final Basic Pay will be Rs.27,866. From September 2013, DA is 88.95%. After merging 60.15 with basic, remaining 28.80% DA will be there. We can expect minimum 10% HRA after revision. So, you get total 38.80% of Dearness Allowance & House Rent Allowance on Basic Pay. So, total Gross Salary of Bank fresher Probationary Officer (PO) from September 2013 will be Rs.38,678/- (Worst Possible Scenario)

If IBA(Indian Banks’ Association) agree for 25% increment, Final Basic Pay will be Rs.29,026. Total 38.80% of Dearness Allowance and House Rent Allowance on Basic Pay. So, total Gross Salary of Bank fresher Probationary Officer (PO) from September 2013 will be Rs.40,288/- (Somewhat Good)

If IBA(Indian Banks’ Association) agree for 30% increment, Final Basic Pay will be Rs.30,187. Total 38.80% of Dearness Allowance and House Rent Allowance on Basic Pay. So, total Gross Salary of Bank fresher Probationary Officer (PO) from August 2013 will be Rs.41,899/- (Good Settlement)

We can expect Worst possible scenario in reality. So, Salary of Bank PO from September 2013 will be Rs.38,678/-.

Revised Pay Scale Bank PO

Bank Clerk Salary After Revision in 2013:

At present a newly joined Bank Clerk’s Basic Pay is Rs.8,000. After merging the 60.15% Dearness Allowance as on November 1, 2011 to Basic Pay, it will be Rs.12,812/- We are expecting minimum 20% increment to this basic pay. At most we get 25% increment.

If IBA(Indian Banks’ Association) agree for 20% increment, Final Basic Pay will be Rs.15,374. From September 2013, Dearness Allowance is 88.95%. After merging 60.15 with basic, remaining 28.80% DA will be there. We can expect minimum 10% HRA after revision. So, you get total 38.80% of Dearness Allowance and House Rent Allowance on Basic Pay. So, total Gross Salary of Bank fresher Clerk from September 2013 will be Rs.21,339/- (Worst Possible Scenario)

If IBA(Indian Banks’ Association) agree for 25% increment, Final Basic Pay will be Rs.16,015. Total 38.80% of Dearness Allowance and House Rent Allowance on Basic Pay. So, total Gross Salary of Bank fresher Clerk from September 2013 will be Rs.22,228/- (Somewhat Good)

We can expect Worst possible scenario in reality. So, Salary of Bank Clerk from September 2013 will be Rs.21,339/-

So, Bank PO Salary after revision 2013 will be anywhere between Rs.38,678 to Rs.41,899 &
Bank Clerk Salary after revision 2013 will be anywhere between Rs.21,339 to Rs.23,117.

CPT(Computer Proficiency Test) & Skill Test for SSC CGL CSS, FCI, Excise/Income Tax & Govt. Exam

Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) is a qualifying test conducted by SSC for the post of Assistants (CSS) & FCI and have different questions of Word Processing, Spread Sheets and generation of slides.

The skill test in computer Proficiency in a qualifying test only. It will consist of two Modules in the following manner:

Module-1 : Test in Spread Sheets on Microsoft Excel: 15 Minutes
Module 2: Test in Power Point (Microsoft Power Point): 15 Minutes

After each module, candidates will take printout of the saved files and will submit to the invigilator after signed by the candidates on each page with roll number and name clearly written on each page.
Immediately after the test is over, the candidate will have to write in his/her own handwriting one paragraph of about 50-60 words from the passage given to his/her on a separate sheet and will have to put his/her name, roll no. and signature at the end. This is done to verify and ensure that you were present in the examination and not someone else.

Data Entry Skill Test:

For various posts such as Data Entry Operator or TAX ASSISTANTS (Central Excise & Income Tax), candidates will have to clear the Skill Test. The Skill test is qualifying in nature and candidates needs to score minimum marks fixed by the commission.
To clear the Skill Test, candidates should have a Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer.
The “Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on Computer” will be judged on the basis of the correct entry of words key depressions and the duration of the said Test will be 15 (Fifteen) minutes and printed matter in English containing about 2000-2200 strokes/key-depressions would be given to each candidate who would enter the same in the Computer.
The “Data Entry Speed” Skill Test would be of qualifying nature.
