IBPS SO III(Specialist Officers) 2014 Interview Schedule & Results

IBPS has finally announced the result of online written exam of Specialist Officers(SO) recruitment in public sector banks.
You can check the Result Status of CWE Specialist Officers Phase III (CWE SPL-III) here.
The marks would be announced in 10 days.

IBPS SO III(Specialist Officers) 2014 Interview Schedule & Results:

The download of call letters for Interviews will be available in the month of March 2014. The interviews would be conducted in April 2014 and final allotment will happen in April 2014.

IBPS SO(Specialist Officer) 2013 Interview Notification, Schedule, Cutoff & Results

IBPS announced the schedule of conduction of common interviews for Specialist Officers(SO) 2013 for different cadres. Recently, IBPS declared the result of online written test of SO 2013 and respective cutoff for various cadres. The cut off this year was really high and unexpected from the previous year. This time, candidates only three times the number of vacancies are called for common interviews.

Important Dates for IBPS SO 2013 Interviews:

Download of Call Letters for Interviews: After May 14, 2013

Conduct of Common Interviews: May 27, 2013 Onwards

Declaration of Combined Result of CWE and Interview: Third Week of June, 2013

Notification of Vacancies of each of the participating banks: Third Week of June, 2013

Online Registration of Preference of Banks: Fourth Week of June, 2013

Allotment of Banks: Second Week of July, 2013

IBPS SO 2013 Cutoff:

The expected cutoff for CWE and interviews will be high for SO 2013 as there are less number of vacancies for each cadre. So, you need to prepare really hard for the interviews. We will update interview study material for each cadres of IBPS SO 2013.

IBPS has also released the notification of details of vacancies of Specialist Officers in various banks. Click here to download the notification. Online registration of Preference of banks for IBPS specialist Officers will begin from June 24, 2013 till June 29, 2013. Final results will be announced in the 2nd week of July 2013.

Canara Bank Specialist Officers(SO) Interview Candidates, Schedule & Preparation

Canara Bank has listed the candidates that have been shortlisted for the interview of Specialist Officers(SO) recruitment 2013 in various cadres.

The list of shortlisted candidates is available on the website of Canara Bank. The interviews will start from April 17, 2013 onwards and call letter will also be made available to download in a few days time. You are required to download the call letter and bring signed original Biodata affixed with Photo plus three Photocopies of the Biodata and all other documents as mentioned in the Call Letter at the time of attending Group Discussion and Interview.

SELECTION PROCEDURE for Canara Bank SO 2013 Recruitment:

The final selection process for Post Codes-1 to 8 is on the basis of Score obtained in IBPS-CWE-Specialist Officer-2011-12 + Group Discussion + Interview.

Total Weighted Specialist Officer 2012 Standard Score (CWE) = 50%
Group Discussion(GD) = 20%
Interview = 30%
Total = 100%

The selection process for Post Codes-9 to 14 is on the basis of Shortlisting the candidates, Group Discussion & Interview.

Group Discussion(GD) = 40%
Interview = 60%
Total = 100%

IBPS SO(Specialist Officer) 2013 Result, Cutoff & Analysis

IBPS conducted the online examination for Specialist Officer in various cadres such as Marketing Officer, IT Officer, etc. on March 17, 2013. The written test was of two hours and it was conducted successfully. You can read the notification here.

IBPS SO(Specialist Officer) 2013 Exam Analysis:

Here is the analysis of the SO examination after talking to students. Many students find Reasoning as the toughest and time consuming section of all. Those who have given “Marketing Officer” exam said that “Professional Knowledge” Section was unexpected. Candidates were expecting marketing questions in that section but all they found were finance and banking questions. Those who are already in banking and mutual funds sector would have been able to answer those questions easily and would be benefited from that. Professional Knowledge in other cadres was as one expected.
Quantitative Aptitude and English section were relatively easy and candidates are expecting to score most of their marks in these sections.

IBPS SO(Specialist Officer) 2013 Cutoff:

The cutoff for all cadres is expected to be same as it was last year. For some posts such as Marketing Officer, it may be even less than the last time. Though we better wait and see in the result.

The selection process for all other posts is based on the group discussion and interview.

IBPS Specialist Officers(SO) Exam Admit Card/Call Letter 2013

IBPS will be conducting the CWE(Common Written Examination) 2013 for the recruitment of Specialist Officers(SO) in various Cadres such as Marketing Officer, Technical Officer, Law Officer, HR officer,etc. for 20 Public Sector Banks. The last date to fill the application form was January 28, 2013. The scheduled date for the IBPS SO 2013 examination is March 17, 2013.

Download Admit Card/Call Letter for IBPS SO(Specialist Officer) 2013:

Download the admit card/call letter for IBPS SO exam at his link. You have to fill your registration number and date of birth or password. After downloading, Please make sure that all the credentials such as Name, dob, fathers’ name, etc. are correct on your call letter. If there is any fault, contact the IBPS officials.

NOTE: The written test will be conducted online once again by IBPS. Candidates are required to bring their photo identity proof such as Driving License, Passport, Bank passbook, voter card, etc with the admit card in the examination. The Admit Card must be submitted along with the photocopy of photo identity proof to the invigilators in the examination hall.
