SSC(Staff Selection Commission) is going to conduct the recruitment exam for the selection of of STENOGRAPHERS (GRADE ‘C’ & ‘D’) in 2013. The selection process for the recruitment of Stenographers includes objective written test followed by Skill Test.
The objective written exam is of two hours and 200 marks. It includes three sections viz.

SSC STENOGRAPHERS (GRADE ‘C’ & ‘D’) Notification, 2013

SSC invites applications for the common written examination for the recruitment of STENOGRAPHERS (GRADE ‘C’ & ‘D’) in 2013. The minimum eligibility qualification for this post is 12th standard pass from a recognized board.

Important Dates:

Date Of Notification—28-09-2013
Last Date Of Receiving Application—26-10-2013
Date Of Examination—29-12-2013

Selection Process:

Objective Written Test of 200 marks(Reasoning -50 marks, GK- 50 marks and English -100 marks) followed by Skill Test in Stenography at 100 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m for Stenographers Grade C & Grade D respectively.

Application Fees:

Rs. 100. Fees is exempted for women candidates, SC, ST, PH and Ex-serviceman.

Age Limit:

18-28 years as on 01.08.2013. Age relaxation is also allowed as per norms.

CENTRAL INDUSTRIAL SECURITY FORCE (CISF) invites applications for the recruitment of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno) in CISF – 2013 for direct candidate and ASI/ Steno (LDCE) – 2013 for departmental candidates of CISF.

Central Industrial Security Force(CISF) comes under Ministry of Home Affairs of the Indian government.

Total Number of Vacancies:

Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) (Steno): 104 posts (Backlog -57, Current -47)

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 – Rs. 20200 with grade pay Rs. 2800/-,

Age Limit: 18-25 years as on September 27, 2013.

SSC Grade ‘C’ Stenographers COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION, 2013

Staff Selection Commission(SSC) invites applications for the Stenographer Limited Departmental Competitive Examination to be held on 12.05.2013 at DELHI, ALLAHABAD, KOLKATA, GUWAHATI, MUMBAI, BANGALORE, CHENNAI, CHANDIGARH & RAIPUR in accordance with the enclosed rules framed and already notified in the Gazette of India by the Department of Personnel and Training vide notification dated 11.05.1971 for making additions to the Select List for Grade ‘C’.

Stenographers of the following Services/Cadres, subject to availability of confirmed number of vacancies:-

(i) Central Secretariat Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’;

(ii) Stenographers Cadre of Indian Foreign Service (B) Grade-II;

(iii) Armed Forces Headquarters Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’;

(iv) Railway Board Secretariat Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’;

(v) Election Commission of India Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’;
(vi) Central Vigilance Commission Stenographers service Grade ‘C’;

Examination Pattern:

The Part A written examination would consists of 200 questions in 2 hours from two sections i.e. (a) General Awareness and (b)Comprehension and writing ability of English Language.

It will be followed Part B SHORTHAND SKILL TEST IN HINDI OR IN ENGLISH (FOR THOSE WHO QUALIFY
IN THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION)- 200 MARKS.

PART C: EVALUATION OF RECORD OF SERVICE OF SUCH OF THE CANDIDATES, AS MAY BE DECIDED BY THE COMMISSION IN THEIR DISCRETION ON THE BASIS OF PERFORMANCE IN WRITTEN EXAMINATION AND STENOGRAPHY SKILL TEST CARRYING A MAXIMUM OF 100 MARKS.
