D) General Awareness, Marketing & Computers:

1) Handbook on Computer Awareness: This Book is really useful for IBPS RRB exam.

2) Guide to Banking General Awareness and Banking Aptitude Test: Another good book for banking awareness section. It contains more than 1,000 questions for the preparation of Banking awareness section.

3) Marketing Aptitude / Computer Aptitude / General & Banking Awareness: A Must have book that covers marketing aptitude, computer knowledge and banking awareness.

IBPS is going to conduct the RRB PO and Assistant(Multipurpose) exam in September, 2013. The recruitment will be conducted for selection of Group A Officers(Scale 1, 2 & 3) and Group B Officer Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks(RRBs) in 2013.

IBPS CWE RRB 2 2013 – Notification, Paper Pattern, Syllabus & How To Apply

IBPS invites applications from the eligible candidates for the recruitment of Group A Officers and Group B Officer Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks(RRBs) in 2013. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will tentatively conduct the CWE RRB 2 in September/October, 2013.

Eligibility Criteria As on July 1, 2013:

For Officers Scale 3: 21 – 40 years, Degree in any discipline with minimum 50%, 5 years experience
For Officers Scale 2: 21- 32 years, Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% for General banking post or specialized branches such as IT, MBA, etc. for Specialist Officer; 2 years experience
For Officers Scale 1: 18 – 28 years, Degree in any discipline, Proficiency in local language
For Office Assistants (Multipurpose): 18-28 years, Degree in any discipline, Proficiency in local language

Application Charges:

Rs. 100 for SC/ST/PWD
Rs. 600 for others

Online Examination:

It would consists of 200 questions to be done in two and a half hour except for posts such as Officers Scale 2 and 3. The paper would be divided into five sections such as Reasoning, Maths, English or Hindi, General awareness and computer language. There will be negative marking and sectional cutoff. Score will be valid for one year.
