CWE Administrative Officers(AO) in General Insurance Companies 2013 Notification, Paper Pattern & Syllabus

National Insurance Company Limited invites applications from the eligible candidates for the recruitment of 1,411 vacancies of Administrative Officers (Scale I) in Specialist and Generalist disciplines.

The four General Insurance companies that are participating in this recruitment process are given as follows:

1) National Insurance Company Limited
2) The New India Assurance Company Ltd.
3) Oriental Company Insurance Limited
4) United India Insurance Company Ltd.

Total Number of Vacancies(Approx.):

National Insurance Co. Ltd. – 423
New India Assurance Co. Ltd. – 494
United India Insurance Co. Ltd. – 294
Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd. – 223

Total = 1434

Eligibility Criteria:

1) For Generalist Administrative Officers: Graduation from a recognized university in any discipline.

2) For Specialist Profiles:

a) Finance: Chartered/Cost Accountant or M.Com. or MBA in Finance.
b) Marketing: MBA in Marketing from a recognized university.
c) Engineering: B.Tech/B.E. in any engineering branch.
d) Information Technology: B.Tech/B.E. in Information technology.
e) Agricultural Specialist: Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science.
f) Legal: Graduation in Law.
g) Librarian: Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science.

3) Age Limit: 21-30 years as on 31/07/2013

Application Fees:

Rs. 170 (ST/SC/PWD)
Rs.470 (Others)

Selection Procedure and Paper Pattern:

A) Written exam (for generalist discipline) will consist of 5 sections, as explained below:

1) Test of Reasoning – 25 marks
2) Test of English Language – 25 marks
3) Test of General Awareness – 25 marks
4) Test of Numerical Ability – 25 marks
5) Test of Descriptive English – 50 marks

Total marks = 150(in 3 Hours)

B) Written exam (for Specialist discipline) will consist of 6 sections, as explained below:

1) Test of Reasoning – 20 marks
2) Test of English Language – 20 marks
3) Test of General Awareness – 20 marks
4) Test of Numerical Ability – 20 marks
5) Test of Specialist Discipline – 20 marks
5) Test of Descriptive English – 50 marks

Total marks = 150(in 3 Hours)

For both Generalist and Specialist Discipline, descriptive answer sheets of only candidates would be evaluated who clear the objective exam.

SAIL Recruitment – Management Trainee (Technical & Administration ) 640 Vacancies

SAIL, a Maharatna Company, invites applications from the eligible candidates for the posts of Management Trainee (Technical) and Management Trainee (Administration) in to fill up 640 vacancies.

Important Dates:

1) Starting date for submitting online applications – 12.3.2013

ELIGIBILITY:

Minimum Qualification :
For Management Trainee(Technical): Degree in Engg. (full time)with 65% marks (average of all semesters), in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Electronics, Instrumentation, Ceramics, Civil,Computer Science (IT), MiningorChemical Engineering. For Computer Science discipline MCA (3 years full time)with 65% marks (average of all semesters) are also eligible.

For Management Trainee(Administration):
For HR, Marketingand Materials: Bachelors’ degree in any discipline with 60% marks (average of all subjects) with at least two years full time MBA/PG Diploma in Management with 60% marketing/Human
Resources/Personnel Mgmt.
&Industrial Relations/Personnel Mgmt./Masters in Human Resources & Organizational Development for HR discipline, Marketing for Marketing disciplineand Production/Operations/Materials/Logistics & Supply Chain Mgmt. for Materials discipline.

Selection Process:

Written Test, GD and Interview with a weightage of 60:20:20. The written test will have five segments; Domain knowledge test (duration 75 minutes) for 100 marks and Aptitude test (duration 75 minutes) consisting of four segments viz. Quantitative aptitude, Verbal ability, Reasoning and General awareness of 25 marks each).
