Haryana Teachers’ Eligibility Test (HTET) 2013 notification is out now. HTET is a written test conducted to make teachers eligible for teaching in schools. It has now become mandatory for all the teachers to clear this test to ensure that you possess all the qualities for teaching at Elementary, Secondary & Senior Secondary level at School.

Important Dates:

April 27,2013- 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM – Primary teacher (Class 1-5)

April 27,2013- 02:30 PM to 04:00 PM- T.G.T (Class 6-8)

April 28, 2013- 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM- P.G.T(Class 9 onwards)

Duration: The total time of the written test is 90 minutes.

Paper Pattern:

1) Child Development and pedagogy- 30 Marks
2) Language 2 (Hindi)- 30 Marks
3) Language 2 (English)- 30 Marks
4) Maths- 30 Marks
5) Environmental Studies(ES)- 30 Marks

Eligibility Conditions (for Teachers of class 1-5): BA/B.Sc./B.Com with at least 50 precent marks & B.Ed. qualification.

Matric(Class 10th) with Hindi/Sanskrit or Senior Secondary / Graduation / Post
Graduation with Hindi as one of the Subjects.

NOTE: 5 percent relaxation is also there for SC candidates.
