Life Insurance Corporation (A major government owned insurance sector company), has issued a notification for the recruitment of more than 5000 ADO (Apprentice Development Officers).

Selection will be made on the basis of on-line test followed by an Interview of candidates
who qualify in the on-line test.

On-line test will be of objective type, multiple choice of two hours duration comprising of the following sections:

I: Reasoning Ability, 25 Questions, 25 Marks
II: Numerical Ability, 25 Questions, 25 Marks

C) English Language with special emphasis on Grammar and Vocabulary:

1) General English by Lucent Publications: The best book for the preparation of English section with special emphasis on Grammar and Vocabulary. All topics are explained in English and Hindi language to give you better understanding. Plus, it is an exhaustive book which has covered even small topics in detail.

D) Insurance and Financial Marketing Awareness with special emphasis on knowledge of Life Insurance and Financial Sector:

1) Handbook on Computer Awareness: This Book is really useful for Recruitment Exams such as SBI PO exam, IBPS PO/RRB/Clerk, SSC, LIC AAO, Railways and entrance exams of MCA, MBA, BBA and similar courses.

LIC ADO Recruitment Notification 2015(North, South, East, West Zone)

Life Insurance Corporation (A major government owned insurance sector company), has issued a notification for the recruitment of ADO (Apprentice Development Officers) and there are more than 5000 posts are notified by LIC that also contains the backlog vacancies.

Important Dates:

Commencement of on-line registration of application – 01/06/2015

Closure of registration – 30/06/2015

Date of On-line test:

On-line test will be held at various centres, tentatively on Sunday, 19th July,

JOB REQUIREMENT:

It is primarily a sales supervision job. The selected candidates will be required to recruit
agents, train them properly, and help the recruited agents to sell life insurance to
maximum number of persons. They will also be required to give prompt after sales
service to policyholders. For this purpose considerable movements including tours
covering the entire area allotted to them are involved.

REMUNERATION:

During the apprentice period, the candidate selected as Apprentice Development Officer
will be paid a fixed amount as stipend per month as per rules of the Corporation. At
present the amount of stipend is about Rs.23836/- per month, except in case of
candidates selected from LIC Employees category.

On appointment as a Probationary Development Officer, basic pay of Rs.11535/- per
month (except for Employee Category candidates) in the scale of 11535-700(2)-12935 –
825(2) -14585 -840(17)-28865 (Under Revision) and other admissible allowances as
per rules shall be payable. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs.26736/-. Other
benefits include Gratuity, Defined Contributory Pension Scheme, LTC, Medical Benefit,
Group Savings Linked Insurance (GSLI), Group Personal Accident Insurance, vehicle
advance (2-wheeler/4-wheeler) as per rules and on confirmation in service, attractive
performance linked Incentives. Please note that wage revision of LIC is under process WEF year 2012. So, this salary will increase.

Age:
The applicant shall have completed 21 years of age (in completed years) and not
more than 30 years of age (in completed years) as on 01.06.2015 i.e candidates
must have been born not earlier than 02.06.1985 and not later than 01.06.1994
(both days inclusive) as on 01.06.2015. Relaxation of age as per government norms.

Qualification: Graduation from any recognized university.

Selection will be made on the basis of on-line test followed by an Interview of candidates
who qualify in the on-line test.

LIC HFL Recruitment of Assistants 2014(100 Vacancies)

LIC Housing Finance Ltd. invites applications from the eligible candidates for the recruitment of 100 assistants at various locations across India.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:

(i) Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/Board (with minimum 50% marks).

LIC Financial Service Executives (FSE) Recruitment 2013

LIC invites applications from eligible Indian candidates for the 100 posts of Financial Service Executives (FSE) in Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).
The posts are on contract basis for three years (renewable will be possible based on performance) and are based out of Divisional Offices of Northern Zonal Office.

LIC AAO Interview Schedule and Result 2013

Life Insurance Corporation of India has announced the interview schedule for the recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officers(AAO). The interviews will be held at 9 different centres viz. New Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Kanpur, Kolkata, Jaipur, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai. The interviews will be held in the month of August and September.
The result of LIC AAO Written test was announced last month. A Total of 2381 candidates have been shortlisted for interviews. There are total 750 vacancies in LIC as AAO.

LIC ADO Cutoff Marks for Final Selection 2013(Interview Results)

LIC conducted the ADO recruitment exam in the month of February and March in 2013. The selection process of the exam consisted of online objective written test followed by interview. The written test was of 100 marks(100 questions in 2 hours).

LIC ADO 2015 Exam Review, Questions, Cutoff And Result

Though, LIC announced the interview results of LIC ADO a couple of months back, but the results were not posted on any website. The selected candidates were informed via Email and phones by their respective divisional offices.
So, candidates were really confused about the final cutoff marks for selection as ADO in Life Insurance Corporation of India.

Now one of the candidate has filed a RTI to get the final cutoff marks of selection. Here is the reply from Life Insurance Corporation of India:

LIC AAO 2013 Result Announced

Life Insurance of India conducted the online exam of AAO(Assistant Administrative Officer) on May 11,12,18 & 19, 2013 and June 23, 2013. Though many candidates could not been able to give the exam due to their exam of SSC CGL but still lakhs of candidates appeared for the online exam.
Though LIC allowed the re-exam of candidates of Maharashtra(which could not able to give AAO exam due to their MPSC exam) which was unfair for the candidates of other states(which missed the exam due to SSC CGL). Any candidate can easily take stay on this exam accusing LIC of favoring Maharashtra candidates.

Anyways, now the LIC has conducted the exam of Maharashtra candidates also, result would be announced very soon.

The written exam of LIC AAO 2013 consisted of 160 questions divided into five sections. The English section was only qualifying and marks will not considered in final selection.
