Allahabad UP Gramin Bank Recruitment 2013 – 219 Officer & Assistant Posts(Notification)

Allahabad UP Gramin Bank invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Officer in Junior Management & Office Assistant (Multipurpose) on the basis of CWE for RRBs(Regional Rural Banks) conducted by IBPS in September last year in 2012.

Rs. 100 for General candidates and Rs.20/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXS to be deposited in Allahabad bank or Allahabad UP Gramin Bank.

Selection Process:

IBPS SO(Specialist Officer) 2013 Interview Notification, Schedule, Cutoff & Results

IBPS announced the schedule of conduction of common interviews for Specialist Officers(SO) 2013 for different cadres. Recently, IBPS declared the result of online written test of SO 2013 and respective cutoff for various cadres. The cut off this year was really high and unexpected from the previous year. This time, candidates only three times the number of vacancies are called for common interviews.

Important Dates for IBPS SO 2013 Interviews:

Download of Call Letters for Interviews: After May 14, 2013

Conduct of Common Interviews: May 27, 2013 Onwards

Declaration of Combined Result of CWE and Interview: Third Week of June, 2013

Notification of Vacancies of each of the participating banks: Third Week of June, 2013

Online Registration of Preference of Banks: Fourth Week of June, 2013

Allotment of Banks: Second Week of July, 2013

IBPS SO 2013 Cutoff:

The expected cutoff for CWE and interviews will be high for SO 2013 as there are less number of vacancies for each cadre. So, you need to prepare really hard for the interviews. We will update interview study material for each cadres of IBPS SO 2013.

IBPS has also released the notification of details of vacancies of Specialist Officers in various banks. Click here to download the notification. Online registration of Preference of banks for IBPS specialist Officers will begin from June 24, 2013 till June 29, 2013. Final results will be announced in the 2nd week of July 2013.

IBPS will be conducting the SO(Specialist Officer) Exam second time this year in March, 2013. Many students are preparing for this examination by taking coaching at different centers. IBPS Specialist Officers(SO) Exam Admit Card/Call Letter 2013

IBPS will be conducting the CWE(Common Written Examination) 2013 for the recruitment of Specialist Officers(SO) in various Cadres such as Marketing Officer, Technical Officer, Law Officer, HR officer,etc. for 20 Public Sector Banks. The last date to fill the application form was January 28, 2013. The scheduled date for the IBPS SO 2013 examination is March 17, 2013.

Download Admit Card/Call Letter for IBPS SO(Specialist Officer) 2013:

Download the admit card/call letter for IBPS SO exam at his link. You have to fill your registration number and date of birth or password. After downloading, Please make sure that all the credentials such as Name, dob, fathers’ name, etc. are correct on your call letter. If there is any fault, contact the IBPS officials.

NOTE: The written test will be conducted online once again by IBPS. Candidates are required to bring their photo identity proof such as Driving License, Passport, Bank passbook, voter card, etc with the admit card in the examination. The Admit Card must be submitted along with the photocopy of photo identity proof to the invigilators in the examination hall.

IBPS CWE Specialist Officer(SO) Exam 2013: Syllabus and Paper Pattern

IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is conducting the second Specialist Officer(SO) recruitment exam this year in March, 2013. Though many students are still complaining that none of the banks has published a single vacancy for many of the profiles of Specialist officer last year but this time around, it is expected that a large number of vacancies will be published. An online written test will be conducted for the Specialist Officer recruitment.

Below I’ve shared the Syllabus and Paper pattern of IBPS CWE Specialist Officer(SO) Exam 2013:

Note: This syllabus is same for IBPS SO 2014 also.

1. ENGLISH LANGUAGE (25 marks, 50 questions)
Vocabulary(Synonyms, Antonyms, One Word Substitution,etc.), English Comprehension, Common Errors in English, Grammar(Active-Passive Voice, Direct-Indirect Speech, etc.), Idioms, Phrases, etc.

2. LOGICAL REASONING (50 marks, 50 questions)
Verbal Reasoning: Analogy, Sitting Arrangement, Series Completion, Coding Decoding, Blood Relation, Syllogism, Decision Making, Statement Reasoning
Non-verbal Reasoning: Series Completion, Analogy, and Classification

3. QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE (50 marks, 50 questions)
Arithmetic: Numbers, Average, Surds & Indices, Percentage, Compound Interest, Stocks & Shares, Clocks, Logarithms Profit and Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Partnership, Mensuration, Volume & Surface Area, Chain Rule, Time & Work, Problems on Trains, Boats & Streams, Pipes & Cisterns, Time & Distance, Alligation, Simple Interest, Permutation & combination, Probability, Heights & Distances
Data Interpretation: Tabulation, Bar Graphs, Line Graphs, Pie Charts

4. Professional Knowledge(75 Marks, 50 questions): It will include questions related to your main subject and profile you’re applying for.

Note: For the Scale I posts, Quantitative Aptitude section will be replaced with General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry. All other sections will remain same. To know more information about Scale I and Scale II posts – click here.
The written test will be of two hours. There will be a penalty for wrong answer. For each wrong answer, there will be a deduction of one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question.
Cut-Off: Each candidate will have to score a minimum standard score in each of the section as well as on the Total Weighted Score to be called for interview. Try to score as many marks as possible in the written examination as it will help you in the final selection after interview.

IBPS CWE Specialist Officer(SO)-II 2013 Recruitment Notice

Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) has published the recruitment notification for CWE Specialist officer(SO)-II, 2013 for 11 different posts in 19 public sector Banks. IBPS conducted the Specialist Officer(SO)-I exam last year in March, 2012.

2. For other Specialist Officer post, candidates must between 20 yrs to 35 yrs.
Note: Age Relaxation will be extended as per government rules.

How to Apply : Interested & eligible aspirants can apply through online mode from IBPS official website. Candidates are advised to keep their recent scanned photograph and signature at the time of online application.

Though IBPS is conducting the Specialist Officer exam again this year but many students are still complaining that not a single vacancy was published last year for Marketing officer profile and some other profiles on the basis of last year Specialist officer(SO) results. So, that was quite an mismanagement by IBPS. Some students are even planning to put RTI against IBPS.
