Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Sep-2014 for Primary/ Elementary Teachers

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in September, 2014. This test is conducted for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII on 21/09/2014.
Candidates can apply On-line for CTET July-2013 on CBSE/ CTET website.

Application Fee : Rs.600/- for only paper -I or II (Rs.300/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) OR Rs.1000/- for both papers (Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) online through Debit/Credit Card or download Payment Challan for payment in the designated accounts of Syndicate Bank/ Canara Bank in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.

CTET 2014 Exam OMR Sheets download

You can download your CTET exam OMR answer sheets online to confirm your result and assessment. CBSE conducted the CTET exam this year on 16 February 2014 and About 8.26 lakh candidates appeared in the exam.
CBSE has decided to upload the OMR sheets in order to maintain the complete transparency in the result. Candidates can view their answer and make sure that there is no discrepancy in the result.

Also the process of viewing the OMR sheets is made private so that only the candidates is able to view his OMR sheets online. Candidates can login with Roll number and Date of Birth to view their answer keys online. The result for the CTET exam held this year will be declared as per the scheduled date on 21 March 2014.

CTET 2013 Notification and Important Details

CBSE has announced the notification of Central Teacher Eligibility Test(CTET) to be conducted on July 28 2013. The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the CTET examination in two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2.

About Central Teacher Eligibility Test(CTET):

Central Teacher Eligibility Test(CTET) is an eligibility test conducted by CBSE to qualify teachers for teaching in CBSE Schools. It is conducted twice every year. The score of CTET is eligible for all central govt. schools and schools that are under the administrative control of Union Territory of Chandigarh, Daman & Diu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Dadra and Nagar Haveli & NCT of Delhi.

Paper 1 is for the teachers who want to teach classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 is for teachers who want to teach Classes 6 to 8. If you want to teach Classes 1 to 8, you will need to clear both the exams. The exam is an objective type. There will be total of 150 questions each carrying 1 mark and there is no negative marking.

Important Dates:

Start of Submission of Online Application Form: March 15, 2013
Last Date of Submission of Online Application Form: April 16, 2013
Last date of receipt of confirmation page by CBSE: April 22, 2013
