MAT May 2013 Notification, Paper Pattern & Important Dates

MAT (Management Aptitude Test) May 2013 notification is out. Management Aptitude Test is an aptitude test conducted by AIMA to help students get admission in the top management colleges of India. The test is conducted 4 times every year in the month of January, May, Sept and December. MAT is taken in two modes, i.e. Paper based Test & Computer Based test.

Important Dates:

Paper Based Written Test: 05-05-2013.

Computer Based Written Test: 11-05-2013.

Last date to buy forms: 16-04-2013

Last Date for Online Registration: 18-04-2013.

Last Date for submission of Online Registration Forms: 19-04-2013.

Eligibility: Students with graduation degree from recognized university or appearing students can also apply.

Syllabus/Paper Pattern: There are total of 5 sections in the paper of MAT exam.

1)Quantitative Techniques Aptitude(40 Questions)
2)General Awareness(40 Questions)
3)Data Analysis and Data Sufficiency(40 Questions)
4)Logical & Critical Reasoning(40 Questions)
5)Language Comprehension(40 Questions)

Total time to attempt the paper is 150 minutes.

How to Apply: You can apply in 3 different formats for MAT May 2013:

1) Buy MAT Bulletin form by paying cash of Rs.1200/- payable in Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank or any Study Centres of AIMA.
2) Get a Demand Draft of Rs.1200 in favor of ”All India Management Association(AIMA)”, payable at Delhi in any bank and fill online registration form on website http://apps.aima.in/matmay13 along with the DD details.
3) You can also apply online and pay the fees with Credit/Debit card cash payment. Click Here For online registration.

AIMA Mini Ratna PSU Result Announced

The result of the written test for Premier Schedule A Mini Ratna PSU(Public Sector Undertaking) has announced today. The test was taken by AIMA(All India Management Association) on the 16th of December, 2012 for four posts viz. Management Trainee(General), Management Trainee(Accounts), Accountant and Junior Technical Assistant in the Mini Ratna PSU, providing Warehousing facilities, logistics support to agriculture sector and other notified commodities. There was an objective written test for the selection process which now will be followed by interview of the shortlisted candidates. The interview will be held on 16th of February, 2013.
The written test comprised of 100 questions with a time of 120 minutes. Though AIMA didn’t publish the score of candidates but the cut off is expected to be around 75-80 marks.

How to Check the Result of the AIMA Mini Ratna PSU Written Test:

To check the AIMA Mini Ratna PSU results and download the provisional interview call letter – click here. Just enter your Roll number and it will tell you whether you’re shortlisted or not.

You’re required to download the call letter, bio date form, undertaking form and various other forms before you go to the interview. Fill in all these forms and give your best shot for the interview.
