SSC CGL 2015 Exam Review, Answer Key, Cutoff & Results

SSC CGL Exam 2015 was conducted on the 9th August and 16th August 2015. In terms of overall difficulty level, the exam was easy to moderate. Let’s check out complete review below.

SSC CGL 2015 Exam Review:

General Intelligence:
The section was as expected very easy. Most of the questions were expected ones by the candidates. This will be one of the highest scoring section for most of the candidates.

English Language:
This year, this paper mainly covered by Grammar and Vocabulary such Antonyms, Synonyms,entence Completion, Idioms and Wrongly Spelt Words and One Word Substitution. Find Correct Alternative and Fill in the blanks, Error spotting, In Grammar and Fill in the Blanks were also there. Two Reading Comprehension Passage (with 5 questions each) was also asked in the paper. Over all, the paper was moderate in difficulty level.

Quantitative Aptitude:
The section comprised questions from various topics such as Arithmetic, Algebra, Trigonometry and Geometry, Ratio, Profit & Loss, Averages, Time-Speed-Distance, Time & Work and Percentages. Two Data Interpretation Question was also asked in the paper. Over all, this section was easy to moderate.

General Awareness:
The section was dominated by questions from Static G.K, Economy, Science, India Polity, etc.
Least scoring section for most of the candidates.

Overall, an attempt of around 125 to 145 questions, with an accuracy of around 85-90%, should fetch you good enough marks to qualify for the Mains Exam.

SSC CGL 2015 Cutoff and Results:

The cutoff is expected to be around 100 again this time. The results will be announced very soon.
