Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates age should not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.09.2014 i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1984 and not later than 01.09.1993 (both days inclusive). Age relaxation is allowed as per government rules.

Educational Qualification: Graduation degree.

Selection Procedure: Written Test followed by Group Discussion and Interview.

UPSC CSAT(IAS Prelims) 2014 Answer Key, Analysis, Cutoff & Results

UPSC conducted the IAS(Civil Services) Prelims Exam – CSAT Paper 1 and Paper 2 on August 24, 2014. Check out answer key, analysis, cutoff & results.

UPSC CSAT(IAS Prelims) 2014 Analysis:

Paper 1: The questions in this paper were based on thorough knowledge of the General awareness. Though with the revised pattern, you don’t need to mug up things but you need to study subjects thorough with good understanding.
This paper was on the average to difficult side.

Paper 2: Paper 2 was on the easier side. There were 80 questions and total marks are 200. Questions were divided into Maths/Reasoning/Data Interpretation/ Passage Based questions. There were very few questions of English Language of which marks won’t be counted as per government notification. Mathematics’ questions were very easy. Passage questions were also pretty much straightforward. So, this paper would be really high scoring.

IBPS is going to conduct the Common Written Exam for the recruitment of Clerks in 21 Public Sector Banks in 2014. You can read the notification here.

The online objective exam would be conducted in the month of December, 2014.

Paper Pattern:

The total time is of 2 hours including following sections:
