New Exam Dates for SSC CGL 2013 & CGL 2014.

As we all know that SSC has completely scrapped the SSC CGL 2013 examination(Both pre and mains) due to court decision and will conduct the re-examination all over India. It has already conducted the SSC CGL 2013 Tier 1 re-exam in 7 cities but yet to conduct in rest of the cities.

SSC has now referred the order of CAT to DoPT for its decision on whether to comply with the order of CAT on re-examination in all centres.

Now after four weeks of the verdict, SSC is still working on the dates as per new notification on SSC website.

“The date(s) of the CGL ,2013 re-examination for the remaining cites (other than 7 cites where the re-examination was held in 27.4.14) are currently being worked out. The same will be uploaded on the commission website shortly.
The tentative date for CGL,2014 examination (Tier I ) are being worked out.The exact date will be announced shortly.”

Update 1: According to SSC Ex Chief N.K. Raghupathy and Regional Director Sunil Ranjan, the SSC CGL 2013 exam is expected to be conducted on July 13 and July 20, 2014. Though there is no official confirmation but students should keep their preparations on a high note.

Update 2: Re-exam only on 20th july, 2014. People who were concerned about clash of date with upsc asstt. Commandant exam need not worry now. Official notification would be out in a day or two.

Update 3: SSC Finally confirmed the new exam date for CGL 2013 Tier 1 exam for remaining centres. The exam would be held on July 20, 2014.

Best Books for SBI Clerk 2014 (Assistants)

State Bank of India(SBI) issued the notification for the recruitment of 5092 vacancies of Clerks/Assistant in 2014. You can read the SBI Clerk 2014 notification here.

SBI Clerk 2014 PAPER PATTERN & SELECTION PROCEDURE:

Phase-I Examination The written test will be online objective type, consisting of:
(i) General Awareness
(ii) General English
(iii) Quantitative Aptitude
(iv) Reasoning Ability
(v) Marketing Aptitude / Computer Knowledge.
The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi. Each test will be of 40 marks.For these objective type tests of total 200 marks candidates will be given a composite time of 2 Hours 15 minutes . There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests.

Phase II Exam: Interview.

C) Data Analysis & Interpretation:

1) Fast Track Objective Arithmetic by Arihant: As this section in the SBI PO exam will be related to Data Analysis and Interpretation but for that, you need to clear your basics of mathematics. This is great book for Mathematics to improve your speed and efficiency with thousands of shortcuts. It covers all the topics with so many formulas, concepts, shortcuts, examples and thousands of questions to practice.

1) Handbook on Computer Awareness: This Book is really useful for Recruitment Exams such as SBI PO/Clerk, IBPS PO/Clerk, SSC, LIC AAO, Railways and entrance exams of MCA, MBA, BBA and similar courses.

SBI Clerk 2014 Notification, Paper Pattern & Apply Online(5092 Vacancies)

State Bank of India finally issued the notification and invites applications from the eligible candidates for the recruitment of 5092 clerks all over India. The last date to apply is June 14, 2014.
Recently, SBI also issued the notification for the recruitment of PO’s in the largest Indian bank.
