UPSC CDS invites applications from the eligible aspirants of Indian army to join the armed forces. A Combined Defence Services Examination will be conducted by Union Public Service Commission on September 8, 2013. Reserve Bank of India is conducting the online recruitment exam for 525 vacancies of Assistant in RBI in 2013. The selection process of this recruitment includes an online objective written exam followed by an interview. Selection would be based on total marks of written exam and interview. The paper pattern of online objective written exam is as follows:

Selection Process:

Selection process for the recruitment of Assistants in RBI includes online written test of 200 marks followed by an Interview. The written consists of five sections:

UPSC IAS Prelims 2013 Answer Key, Cutoff, Analysis & Result (CSAT Civil Services)

UPSC IAS Prelims(CSP-Civil Services Preliminary) 2013 Analysis:

The UPSC Prelims Paper I Exam 2013 was conducted from 9:30 to 11:30 AM on 26th May, 2013. The difficulty level of the paper was along expected lines. All the topics were fairly balanced and included around 20 questions from each of the main topics- History, Indian Economy, Geography , Indian Polity, & Science and Technology.

But questions were lengthy to read and took more time to read and understand. Around 80-90 marks is a good score in this exam.

A score of 80 to 90 in this section can be considered a good one.

Paper II of the UPSC Prelims Exam – CSAT – was conducted on May 26, 2013 from 2:30 to 4:30 PM. The difficulty level was like previous year. The main change was that there was a substantial increase in the number of questions from Quantitative Aptitude and decrease in the number of questions from Reading comprehension.
Around 120-130 marks is a good score in Paper 2.

UPSC IAS Prelims(CSP-Civil Services Preliminary) 2013 Cutoff:

The likely category wise cut off for CSP 2013 is as follows:

General: 200-210 marks out of 400
OBC: 180-190 marks out of 400
SC: 175-185 marks out of 400
ST: 172-181 marks out of 400

UIIC(United Insurance) AO 2013 Cutoff, Analysis & Result

United Insurance of India(UIIC) conducted the online objective written test for the selection of Administrative Officer on May 26, 2013. The exam was conducted online and thousands of candidates from over India has appeared in the examination.

The objective written exam was of two hours and consisted of four sections viz. English, Maths, Reasoning and General Awareness. All the four sections consisted of 50 questions of 50 marks.

UIIC AO 2013 Cutoff and Analysis:

As we have talked to many students, exam was relatively easy. Though little time consuming but with good strategy, you could score good marks.

As the number of seats are only 445, the cut off is expected to be more than 125-130 marks. Candidates, Six times the number of vacancies would be called for descriptive test now.

Update: UIIC has announced the result but cut off is not mentioned. Only the list of successful candidates.

UIIC(United Insurance) AO 2014 Cutoff, Analysis & Result

UIIC AO 2013 Result:

As the written exam was conducted online, the result would be announced in 2-4 weeks. Next, there will be a descriptive test on English and six times the number of vacancies would be called for descriptive test. The descriptive test is only qualifying and its marks would not be counted for final selection.
After the descriptive test, the qualified candidates would be called for interview and final selection is based on marks of objective test and interview.

Best Books for SSC CGL Tier 2(Mains) Preparation 2013

Staff Selection Commission conducted the CGL Tier 1 exam on April 21 and May 19, 2013. You can check out SSC CGL 2013 Question papers, answer keys, cutoff and results here. There were mixed emotions from candidates about Tier 1 exam. Some felt April 21 exam was tough and some felt that there was not much difference among the both CGL Tier 1 exam.

Whatever it was, now it is time to start preparing for SSC CGL Tier 2(Mains) exam 2013. You can cover up all the marks you’ve lost in Tier 1 exam easily in Tier 2 exam.

SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was of 200 marks. Now the CGL Tier 2 exam would be of 400 marks. There would be only two sections viz. Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. Both the sections would be of 200 marks.
